Part 1 of 3 of the 26-minute WCBS "Eye on New York" episode "Four To Go" featuring The Magicians, originally broadcast on Sunday, Feb. 13, 1966.

The special was shot in late 1965 and early 1966 and this poor quality print appears to be the only version in circulation. Research in the late '70s indicated that both CBS and the production company that produced the special could not find an original print. At the time the special was being planned, the production company indicated they had the option to feature either the Lovin' Spoonful or the Magicians, and it was assumed The Magicians would be the more commercial choice.

Part 1 opens with the band running down the middle of a Manhattan street with "Who Do You Love" in the background. The band is then on stage at The Phone Booth playing "You're So Fine," followed by a profile of drummer Alan Gordon as he rides a subway train.

Jake Jacobs and Garry Bonner are then seen walking with their girlfriends into an apartment. Their philosophical discourse at the kitchen table transitions to shots of Garry walking along the railroad tracks along the Hudson River in what appears to be the Riverdale area of New York.
