Google+ has always been a place to crowd around common interests and meet new people. With today's launch of Google+ Communities there’s now a gathering place for your passions. To give it a try just click on the new "Communities" icon (rolling out today), then create or join your favorite community.  Just in time for the holiday season photo frenzy, we're also bringing the online photo editing app Snapseed to Android. Starting today, it's available for free in Google Play and the App Store.

Isn't it voice of Mila Kunis speaking? had an impression as to hear Meg Griffin from Family Guy :D

I have one question. I'm trying to create a community for my class. Is there a way to initiate a group chat with my community?

So true, but people are switching to G+ faster now that there are so many people on android . while you are waiting on the people you currently know to come to G+ , make some new friends on G+ today :)

Do what I do. I post Google clips on my wall all time about new features. ;) Google Communities is much more organized than FB groups, hands down!

I'm fed up with Facebook and how all these friends I've got on my lists are sharing spam all the time. I'll be looking into Google+ again. Sure, not many friends are on there but it sure seems a lot better than Facebook!
