Sonam Dorji is the Director for the Music of Bhutan Research Center. Sonam is a master musician, vocalist, and composer who plays several instruments native to Bhutan and India.

Imogen Heap is a British eclectic, eccentric, innovative, and Grammy-winning musician considered by some the epitome of a digital diva.
Her talent spans from the craft of songwriting to elaborate live multi-instrumental improvisations, building on a unique voice, classical training and unusual tech-saviness.

Together they sing a traditional Bhutanese Farewell song to close out TEDxThimphu.

In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organized TED event. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events are self-organized.* (*Subject to certain rules and regulations)
