This is a video of our pet Dumbo rat, "Mr. Rat". Today we discovered a lump on his left cheek, in the area under his eye. It looks the way a hamster's cheek would look if it were to have food in it's pouches. I read online that cysts and tumors are common among rats. This lump doesn't feel very hard to the touch. Also his eyes have been gooky lately, especially the eye on the side where the lump is, and he's been sneezing alot in the past week or twTo. It's making me wonder if it's some kind of infection maybe? And maybe the lump could be puss, rather than a tumor or cyst? Any information anyone may have about this or any at-home remedies would be greatly appreciated! Besides the lump, the sneezing, and the gooky eyes he seems to be in good health and is very active and his appetite is still very good. PLEASE HELP!!!
