Somebody's Taken Maria Away

"Somebody's Taken Maria Away" written by Chris Andrews became one of the biggest Swedish hits of 1967 for Tommy Körberg and Mikael Johansson. And you can never go wrong with that Herb Alpert trumpet sound.
The duo had a very successful year before they split up after the summer tour of 1968. Tommy Körberg went on to have a long and succesfull career, internationally he's probably mostly known for his part in the Björn & Benny musical Chess.

Clip is from the movie Boccaccio '70 (1962) and mostly from the act called La Riffa directed by Vittorio De Sica starring Sophia Loren.
