Step 1. Have an experienced stick shift driver supervise you. Step 2. Remember that the clutch has to be in a certain spot so it can move. (poeple usually mess up and let the clutch go to fast, the reason it turns off is because the clutch gets out of that spot really fast. The clutch is supposed to stay in the spot into the car moves.) Step 3. Practice moving car with just moving the clutch out slowly. Try to get the clutch into that spot and practice getting into that clutch spot fast so you can be a pro of getting out of first.
