Historian John Horrigan reads "Across The Lines: Revolutionary War Burial Ground Tribute To British Soldiers" that he wrote and recorded on Patriot's Day, April 19th, 2010 prior to marching with the Lincoln Minutemen.

John delivers this stirring speech to honor five British soldiers who fell under heavy musket fire in Lincoln, Massachusetts on April 19th, 1775, during the opening actions of the American Revolution. They were taken by Mary Hartwell and interred in the old Lexington Road Burial Ground the following day - where this (practice) speech takes place. Excerpts from the invocation parade are included.

To listen to the actual speech live - from April 25th, 2010 - download it at http://www.historylecture.org/graveya...
