THE PROJECT An invasion of giant snails in the new Piazza Garibaldi metro. Pink, green, yellow or blue. The colorful snails in recyclable or recycled plastic have appeared this morning putting in a good mood students and citizens. Could not resist the temptation to take a picture in front of the installation of the Cracking Art Group was founded by six artists: Renzo Nucara, Marco Veronese, Charles Rizzetti, Alex Angi, Kicco and William Sweetlove. Personalities united by the objective "to change the history of art attarverso a strong social and environmental commitment combined with a revolutionary use of plastic materials that evoke a close relationship between natural and artificial". The Cracking Art Group is accustomed to invade urban spaces from Tel Aviv to Paris with turtles, crocodiles, snails and penguins. The snails of Naples, climbing along the bases of the metal shafts of Dominique Perrault, stop next to the ticket office or close to the shops. The glance brings joy: nature seems closer and remember that sometimes is the case of slowing down. Also on the surface snails, on the other side of the sidewalk, in front of the entrance of the central station.
