A group of engineering students from Penn State traveled to Morocco to team with students at L'Ecole Mohammadia d'Ingenueurs in Rabat. The first cross-cultural collaboration sent the students to the village of Assoul to assess soil erosion, water contamination, and how to disinfect the water supply. A second Penn State-Mohammadia team focused on constructing a processing machine that would be used in local fruit production.
