Chapter Four -- Explore your Erogenous Zones

Well I'm still reading this book, Sex Woman First, which I would really recommend you buy as it will show you how to discover your most secret erogenous zones. The author wrote this book to encourage women to put their own pleasure first. For this to happen however women need to be comfortable and intimate with their own sexual anatomy, so today watch this three minute clip and we are going to explore the sacred yoni -- a woman's genitals. In Tantra they are referred to as the 'yoni' and as the gateway of life are considered highly sacred.
This is an exercise you can do alone or with your partner; I would advise that you do both.
Begin by admiring yourself naked in the mirror. We're really going to explore and get to know the parts of you that have the capacity to bring you such pleasure. Look at and observe your breasts; their weight, colour and texture. Stroke and caress them and find your sensitive spots. Now turn your attention to your yoni.
First to your vaginal lips; stroke them and part them and admire the pink loveliness of your sacred parts. Get to know your inner lips and clitoris, your vagina, urethra and anus. A good way to do this exercise by yourself is to open your legs while sitting and use a hand-held mirror. When you have admired yourself, noting colours and textures, gently touch all the different areas. Notice where is most sensitive and where feels most pleasurable. Look in the mirror while you stroke and touch your clitoris and notice the changes in size, colour and texture. Allow yourself to be amazed at how wonderful your body is and be proud of your femininity! Spend as much time on this exercise as you need.
When you are ready, you can share this exercise with your partner. Let him look at and touch you, always with respect and desire. Show him which areas feel good and how you most like to be touched, but don't let him bring you to orgasm yet. This exercise is all about becoming more familiar with your body and increasing the trust and intimacy between you.
You can also do the same for him; explore his penis, known in Tantra as the 'lingam' by admiring and caressing his shaft, the head of his penis and his testicles. As with you, explore how he likes to be touched and which caresses are stimulating for him; but don't let him ejaculate yet. This exercise can be practiced regularly to build up the intimacy and familiarity between you. This connection inspires a trust that is essential to experience deep and satisfying orgasms with your partner.
This practice can also be used before sex as a foreplay technique, building up the sexual tension before you move on to further erotic play. I recommend that you begin with the woman trying this practice alone, then sharing with her partner. Then regularly practice this technique over the next few days. At first do not have sex, allow the tension to build, then the technique can be used for foreplay. I found this practice really helped me learn about my own sexual responses and I was able to share this with my partner.
So in this clip we have covered
• How in Tantra a woman's vulva is sacred
• The importance of getting to know your own intimate parts
• A practice for a woman to explore her own yoni
• A technique for both partners to explore each other's bodies that can also be used for foreplay.
Thank you for watching Sex: Woman First episode # 4. I am Laura and see you next time.
