South Detectives Division is asking for the public's assistance in identifying the suspect who burglarized Southwark School in Wharton.

On February 24, 2014, at 5:30pm, an unknown male was captured on surveillance video entering the Southwark School located at 1835 South 9th Street wheeling a suitcase behind him. Once inside the school the suspect went inside the computer science classroom on the 3rd floor where he took eight (8) Apple Macbook laptop computers. After taking the computers the suspect fled the school into the schoolyard. As the suspect was in the schoolyard, he suddenly became startled and re-enters the school then exits through the 9th Street doors and was last seen south on 9th Street.

Suspect Description: Black male, 5'10″-6'0″, thin build, wearing blue jeans, black sneakers, Geoff cap, dark colored coat with the hood pulled tight.
