Video of how I made my first working incubator. I used this incubator on SHIPPED chicken eggs and 8 out of 11 hatched and lived. Don't be fooled by commercial incubators. I've heard that the cheapest ones are about $45 (without attachments) and don't have a very good hatch rate.

Incubation:

Temperature: 99-100 degrees F
Humidity:50%-65%
Incubation Period: 21 days (Chicken)
Turn 3 times a day for the first 18 days.
Last 3 days: NO Turning; Humidity: 65%-75%; Temperature: Same

Items:

Styrofoam Cooler- $7.25
Thermometer/Hydrometer-$10.50
2' by 5' roll of Hardwired cloth- $6.55
Lamp Set-$10.99
15 W Light Bulb-$2.23
Picture frame- $7
Water dish
