Deli roast beef can cost over $10 dollars a pound. Cooking a eye round roast at home with your favorite seasonings saves a lot of money. Instead of slicing the cooked roast I grind it coarsely. The flavor is the same but the meat is very soft. You wouldn't use this on a deli platter but for sandwiches it's great! If you own a deli meat slicer you're all set. My grinder has been passed down to me from my Grand Mother. You can buy one for around $20 bucks.
