Chef Lance Roll stops by the UW Kitchen to show us some delicious recipes for his traditional bone broth. Bone broth is good for digestion and helps heal the GI tract. You can drink the broth straight in a mug like you would drink coffee.
The first recipe used freshly sliced ginger, shopped cilantro, and freshly sliced lemon. Put those ingredients in a bowl then pour the hot broth over them. Season with sea salt to taste. The next recipe uses sauteed vegetable, slices of roasted chicken, and fresh herbs. Put those in a bowl and pour the broth over it. This recipe is similar to a chicken soup.
Chef Lance's bone broth uses artesian well water and organic chicken from Mary's. There is no added salt so it's convenient for people on restricted diets. You can learn more about Chef Lance's broth at http://bit.ly/Ww4v49 and listen to our radio show: http://bit.ly/Wt0X2i
