A day in the life of young Buddhist Monk. Bhikkhu Tapassi is a young Australian Monk ordained in the Theravadan Forest tradition living in the picturesque Santi Monastery in the Southern highlands between Sydney and Canberra. This short film glimpses the monastic life as it unfolds from the dawn to dusk, reflecting on the realities of ordinary daily life and the eternal truth of Dhamma. This film received a Jury Award at the inaugural International Buddhist Film Festival in Sri Lanka and is part of the Life Beyond the Begging Bowl trilogy.
