Imagine having worked on a global energy solution some 60 years ago and then seeing the world talk about various solutions without getting the problem solved. Syd doesn't believe Earth is in danger, rather he is afraid that humanity is. This he argues is due to the now rather old issue of climate change and pollution. Syd, who worked on the Molten Salt Reactor at ORNL in the 1960s, tells the unique story of how he looks at the past, present and future in this video captured at the Thorium Energy Conference 2018 in Brussels.
Are peoples lives in jeopardy? Yes, much is at stake and the already today air pollution is one of the big killers. Given how old the climate problem is and how slow our progress is it’s time to turn to Thorium to get results.
