A Day in the Life of an ICS Volunteer - VSO Nigeria

The International Citizen Service (ICS) is a global volunteering experience which supports young people from all backgrounds to make a real difference to communities. ICS is funded by the Department for International Development (DFID-UK government). ICS is led by VSO in partnership with respected development organizations. ICS is a development programme that brings together young people between the ages of 18 to 25 from all backgrounds to make a real difference in some of the world’s poorest communities. This global volunteering experience enables young people to make a meaningful contribution to fighting poverty and to gain valuable skills that will stay with them long after the 10 - 12 weeks placement is complete. This is a self made amateur video by a member of the ICS team in Ikorodu in collaboration with her team members.
