Common Questions & Answers!! June 13th 2010 (Guam is a day ahead of the states) TOPICS: Do you have to do anything leading up to water fasting? I have school, work, kids - will fasting make this unmanageable? I can't get past day 1/2/3 without getting bad cravings & caving in - what can I do? How much water should I drink? Should I take vitamins, drink vitamin water, herbal teas, salt water, lemon juice? My heart is racing & I can't sleep - what can I do? I feel lightheaded, nauseated, and have an upset stomach - is this normal? I feel weak & slow - is this ok - what can I do to make it feel better? How should I break my fast? How do you not gain the weight back?
Water fasted from March 4th to April 2nd 2010 and followed with the 80/10/10 lifestyle (Low Fat Raw Vegan - high fruit, some veggies and nuts). JUNE 21ST One week water fast.
I have researched this topic extensively but I am not an expert. Any and all comments, suggestions, opposing views are welcome. Please ask any questions and if I don't know the answer I will find it. If you express opposing views please have proof/source to back it up preferably from a doctor as I have links below outlining the benefits of fasting by doctors.
