Explore the amazing technology that surrounds our everyday lives, in this exciting new original series called uTech, presented by Reading Rainbow and YouTube. In this episode, join host LeVar Burton as he takes a look at some of the places you may have not realized we encounter technology (from the moment we wake up to an alarm clock, until we go to bed at night and brush our teeth).
Return every Wednesday for BRAND NEW uTech episodes!
Our days are filled with technology, starting from the moment we wake up! Mini computers and electricity make sure our alarm clocks stay on time, microwaves make water molecules in food move faster to create heat from the inside, and lots of the tools we use at school (digital whiteboards, tablets and even your pencil) come from the minds of scientists and inventors who have asked themselves, “what can I create to make life easier for other people?" Kids are growing up in a world with technological marvels that are making lives healthier, more efficient and more fun.
