Professor Hal Sosabowski of Brighton University, along with Sideshow Dave Campbell and Fireworks Mike, provided an explosive finale to Science World 2012, Fisher Scientific's Laboratory Experience.

In this video, Dr Hal injects fun and diversity into Science while laughing in the face of risk assessments, to the dismay of the Wembley fire safety officers! His fourth show of the day begins with Chemiluminescence, or the science behind glow sticks, and includes Hal's special version -- the ULTRA glowstick!

The Methane Mamba is the next experiment on show, before Professor Hal really turns up the heat, combining liquid oxygen, which prevents fire extinguishers from working, with "The Devil's Element" -- White Phosphorus -- which spontaneously combusts in air!

With the audience still intact, Professor Hal proceeds to risk his own fingers in the name of science with the Exploding Egg Experiment before drawing his show, and Science World 2012, to a close with a series of ever increasing bangs in the experiment he calls "The Barking Dog."
