Semenggoh Nature Reserve in Sarawak, Malaysia is an excellent place to see semi-wild orangutans. An orangutan centre was set up in 1975 to care for wild animals that had been found injured, orphaned or kept as illegal pets. Today over 20 orangutans that have been successfully rehabilitated roam free in the surrounding forest reserve. The orangutans often return to the centre at feeding times, providing visitors with unique wildlife watching experiences. Borneo Adventure operate regular tours to Semenggoh, if you want to get up close with orangutans, email us on firstname.lastname@example.org.
