For 50 years, we’ve been proud to invest in Egypt’s
energy future. With our partners we produce 30% of the country’s gas and 10% of its oil, and have invested $25 billion in the process. Reflecting our confidence in Egypt, we plan to invest a further $12 billion before the end of 2020. BP is
also committed to a wide-range of social development programs
and investment in the country’s people capabilities.
