My rule as a cashier is, I will not even start considering a second request for change until I have completed the first request completely. I will flat out say to them, "Hold on, let me give you this change first."  If they refuse, then I close the drawer and send them to the customer service booth.
Why is Alex Jones narrating this video? Hahaha
don't believe obamers lies.
I'm sorry, but that lady is plainly stupid.

This is why a lot of stores don't give change and make you buy stuff instead.  So goes through the till and the till can work it out for them.  I also wonder if it's American money the issue, all the notes being the same size.
Brb I'm gonna go hit the gas station.

I disagree there was a confusion due to "math".  This was a scam, not a math related issue.  He already had a $10 lined up under the 9 $1's, throwing off what she just gave him, because she believed that was the same $10.  He just added to her belief by throwing in more money to confuse the situation even more, and she gave up the money.  No math required here.  Oh wait, yes there was.  She counted 9 $1 bills.

I will never trust any one. Ever again.
That's actually a easy trick to do. And honestly Ranger you say that but I have seen it done for upwards over over $100 profit. You May Day it's easy but you have to hand the cash over when ou think it's done and that's when the trouble starts. Lol I would love for you to meet a person who does it professionally because you wouldn't even realize it. It paid for our trip for a week without spending a penny.

I used to have people try to be slick like this. All you have to do is always have them give you the money first before you hand out any money back. That way the money comes in once, you make sure the dollars line up with the request and give back the proper amount. None of this back and forth stuff to screw you up.  Or just don't break change for anyone. That works too.

That's true. Someone tried to do this to me yesterday and I called her out on it and she played dumb. But yeah I always get the money first and once I verify it I give them the change. But after yesterday I'm not giving out change.
