Thomas Power died last month on his way to a hospital in Cork after having a heart attack - he was being transferred from his local hospital in Waterford because its main cardiac lab is closed during weekends and after 5pm during weekdays.

These protesters outside Leinster House want that to change, asking for 24/7 cardiac services in the south-east to prevent similar incidents.
