This video shows how to use a deluxe water test kit to test for moisture content in oil.

Using this test, you can easily identify moisture content in most liquids from .005% (50 PPM) to over 50% (500,000 PPM).

It utilizes Calcium Hydride to react with water molecules to form Hydrogen which is then measured as pressure on a pressure gauge.

We test two samples of oil. One is new oil with no water and the other is a mixture of water and oil.

You'll see how easy it is to quickly and accurately measure water content using this test.
