For anyone watching this video. You are supposed to remove the front of the optical drive and snap it onto the hdd caddy. Then you won´t have the big hole in the side of your computer. Also you are supposed to remove the small metall bracket on the back of the opical drive and mount it on the hdd caddy or you will not be able to screw it down to the comouter.

Can this work say I want to put my exiting hardrive in the dvd drive the 2.5 and replace the hardrive with ssd. so my main drive is ssd and the other drive the cd drive the 2.5 hardrive that came with this laptop. Can this be done?

bro, did you had a problem with HDD? I added same draver for HDD and now it is not visible in windows 10 :-( It`s not visible in Disk management

Just wondering if you removed the front bezel from the optical dvd would it fit on the new hard-drive case. This way there wouldn't be any gap left after installation.

I think this is a troll video. I'm pretty sure the optical DVD drive uses a different connection than what the dvd adapter uses. This is a dv6. I tried this with a dv4 and the connections were completely different and in the opposite sides.
