Thousands of masked protesters surrounded Parliament Square in London on Wednesday as part of the global 'Million Mask March' organised by the Anonymous collective. Protesters raised a number of causes, including Palestine, internet privacy, and anti-austerity.
Clashes occurred between police and protesters in the square, where an 'Occupy Democracy' protest had been evicted by police the week earlier. The protesters were eventually let through police lines and are currently gathered outside Buckingham palace.
