There was one small "hiccup" in that YouTube just disabled video
responses in the middle of my challenge! So in the future, I may
have to create a playlist or something to add all the responses to
so people can conveniently check them all out.

I actually quite a few responses, but I chose to only respond
to the people who showed their face. Responding to a "talking image"
is just not all that interesting.

Here are all the videos I critiqued in my video. You can go watch
them in full and go support them (or debate with them kindly):

There was one objection raised against the idea of the brain being
intelligently designed that I didn't address in the video since
I didn't think it was a very good objection, and the lenght of the video
was just getting too long. The objection was that the brain isn't intelligently
designed because there are just so many brain diseases out there.
First of all, that doesn't logically refute the idea that the brain was
designed any more than your car breaking down proving that your car wasn't
intelligently designed. The conclusion simply doesn't follow from the

However, perhaps the objection is that if God created out brains with these diseases,
then that wouldn't make much sense. But of course, no one believes that.
Well, Christians certainly don't anyway. The Christian position is that everything
was orginally created perfect. But because of mans disobedience, we brought sin
and the curse into the world, which includes death and disease. As an analogy, and
I know that every analogy has it's limits, but it's like if you drove your sports
car in a farmers field, then complained that it wasn't built properly when your
car broke down. Obviously, the problem isn't that it wasn't built properly! The
problem is that you are not using the sports can in the way that it was intended.
Similarly, brain diseases are, in the Christian worldview, the result of humans
not doing and behaving the way God intended us to. The problem isn't with the
designer, but with us and our actions. We aren't living the life that we were intended
to live, but instead have become slaves to sin (lying, selfishness, covetessness,
the list goes on and on). But there is a way out! Christ died for the ungodly, to bring
sinners to repentence. You aren't good enough for God, but Jesus is, and he paid the
penalty for your sin! So if stop relying on your own goodness and put your trust in him,
he will forgive you and give you everlasting life. He'll give you a new heart with new
desires. ANd one day, there will be no more brain disease, just like God always wanted
it to be!

Dang that was pretty good. Maybe I SHOULD make a video just about that....
