Everyone needs a superhero and those in Western Washington are no exception! Thirteen-year-old Erik of Bellevue, who longs to have superhero powers, will be transformed into his very own comic book character on World Wish Day, Thursday, April 29.
Living with kidney cancer, Erik will put his worries aside for one afternoon when, thanks to the Make-A-Wish Foundation, the Seattle Sounders, Puget Sound Energy and the Space Needle, he becomes Electron Boy. Western Washingtons only hope against the dark forces of Dr. Dark and Blackout Boy (played by the Discovery Channels Deadliest Catchs Edgar Hansen and Jake Anderson).
This video will be played at Qwest Field after he saves the Sounders in the locker room. The message indicates that he needs to travel to Puget Sound Energy headquarters in Bellevue and save Energy Jim and restore power to the city.
