It fits very nice! So so close. Any higher it would hit the hood.

another day without the haltech coming back
Realtime1501
haltech is pretty much one of the best in the world but its not bout how good your ECU is that really matters but how well its been tuned and work in harmony with your engine
Gims110
Yea dude, that is smokin...just right...
Wafflebrah21
Wheres the dam haltech?! I wouldn't be able to understand how anxious you are to get it on there. This car has come SUCH a long way from when you got it.
Gims110
Yea...I knew it would fit all along...

looks like you got some wiggle room, taking into consideration that even if your motor mount gives up the ghost inline six motors are nearly perfectly balanced where as it won't bounce around much. The heat is another story though.... :)

I know on my 78 my vents are metal n painted black

Gonna need a heat shield buddy

Lines up perfectly to hopefully cool that turbo down! That plastic is probably thermoset so it wouldn't melt as easily guys (that is if Nissan was smart enough in the 70s to do that). Funny how camaro vents were ornamental from that era but datsun vents are real lawl.
Mike Coleman
Will it not just melt that vent Phil? Surely it will be getting pretty hot.
