Hi my name is Ruth and welcome to another video from Tech-Compass

So you have been enjoying Chromecasting your favourite online films to your big TV but then disaster strikes,
your internet connection goes down and your only option is to Chromecast a film you have stored locally on your computer

But how do you do it?

First browse to the folder on your computer where your videos are stored

Then copy the path

And then paste the path into your Google Chrome browser and hit "enter"

Click on the video you want to watch

And then once the video begins to play click on the Chromecast button and select your Chromecast device

You can then view your videos on your big TV
