In interviewing people for my documentary (now book) Lost Boys of the Bronx - The Oral History of the Ducky Boys Gang ( http://www.amazon.com/Lost-Boys-Bronx... ), we got to talking about the bad reputation of the Bronx, and how it came about.

In this clip, Prof Ultan tells how the reputation was gotten during a combination of Jimmy Carter, Howard Cosell and the Yankees, and the movie Fort Apache the Bronx... And how 30 years later, this reputation isn't valid anymore..

If you are interested in the real story of the Ducky Boys gang of the Wanderers movie, please check out my book Lost Boys of the Bronx: The Oral History of the Ducky Boys Gang - Available on Amazon.com, Barnes & Noble, and http://Lantern-Media.com
