The final undiscovered city in my world of Skyrim, Falkreath, as well as plenty of undiscovered land. As per usual I have chosen a location to travel from to get to the chosen destination, as well as placing a marker mid-way to aim for to discover new areas, and that I did. Much of this video showcases various mines, caves, forsworn settlements and general cave exploration. It includes a bunch of skill book locations (some of which I have already used, therefore not necessarily showing you that it is one!), oddities within the world, a couple of side-quest hints and plenty of dead enemies.
I came across many ore nodes on my travels, most common being Orichalcum, second being Iron and thirdly some Quicksilver and Gold. A lot of the mines and nodes are surrounded by bandits, mostly because they have claimed ownership of the mines, not for long though. Funnily enough a lot of the bandits surrounding the Orichalcum were Orcs, fitting. I think the most exciting discovery on this journey has to be finding Shards of Mehrunes' Razor, something which I hadn't anticipated. I don't like to play with my quests showing, it makes discoveries like this one much more fun.
This video also shows my discovery of various types of enemies, some I've not yet come across and it also shows Hagraven's bringing a Forsworn to life just in front of a word wall. That word wall contains the Become Ethereal shout, which has many uses. This allows you to take no damage or deal no damage for a number of seconds. This is great for escaping a dangerous situation, or jumping from a great height without risking your life. I can see myself using this shout quite a lot in the near future, a great find! It has many other uses but I'm sure you'd like to find out yourself. There is plenty more to be seen, far too much to write a thorough enough description on though.
What struck me about this journey was the immensity of Skyrim, how immersed you can become and how little you can travel before coming across something new and exciting, and in some cases terrifying. I often find myself staring at the sights and listening to the sounds the game has to offer, without so much of a care in the world of Skyrim for the wolf running towards me. It's great, the game can be so peaceful at times.
My character is a level 41 Wood Elf specializing in archery, stealth and light armor. The bow I'm currently using is a Daedric Bow (Legendary) enchanted with Paralyze and the arrows I most commonly use are Daedric, Ebony, Glass, Elven, Dwarven, Orcish and Steel.
(Apologies for some of the sloppy stitching together of the footage, there are moments where it goes black for a split second. This is down to FRAPS creating multiple video files and me not taking enough time to review the footage before render. Don't hate me for it!)
