The Pittsburgh Youth Ballet Company and School, created and managed by Artistic Director Jean Gedeon, is a non-profit organization dedicated to training, inspiring and nurturing young dancers towards artistic excellence, performing works by choreographic masters and emerging choreographers, and bringing the art of dance, through outreach efforts, to new multi-generational audiences.

The Pittsburgh Youth Ballet School was founded in 1983, and since that time, its dancers have been accepted to the most prestigious schools and companies in the world including the New York City Ballet, San Francisco Ballet, Boston Ballet, Pacific Northwest Ballet, Miami City Ballet, Universal Ballet Academy, Kirov Ballet, and the Bolshoi Ballet, Moscow.
This year, PYBC celebrates its 25th anniversary with a Spring Performance at the Byham Theater in Downtown Pittsburgh on June 5th & 7th . The Performance features the full-length comic ballet Coppélia, George Balanchines Waltz of the Hours* and Serenade , and Jerome Robbins Circus Polka.

Ticket sales have already begun and are selling fast. Individual tickets for this event are $25.00. PYBC is delighted to offer discounted tickets to groups of 10 or more. For these groups, tickets are only $15 per person. You may contact PYBC at 724-969-6000 for further information and tickets
