Wooden Heart (Kaempfert-Twomey-Wise-Weisman) by Joe Dowell

Based upon the German tune “Muss I Denn,” Dowell’s only major hit was helped along by the song’s familiarity from having been performed by Elvis in the 1960 film “G.I. Blues.”
