Bam: So now we're going to teach you a hard flip. And the reason why it's called a hard flip is because it's really hard and it might take you a while to learn, so stick with it.
Kerry: A hard flip is going to be a front shove it with a kick flip, so the board's going to kind of go up and tilt that way. So it's going to be kind of like a straight up and down front-side flip where your body stays straight.
Bam: It's hard because when you do the front-side flip, you have to make sure that your foot doesn't hit the board.
Kerry: You have to jump pretty high to get above this one and it's a front-side shove it. Something you want to be really good at is front shoves and be consistent with that. And the kick flip, you use a kick flip a little bit. But this one is, like you said, you keep your body straight. I have been skating for probably 20 years and I have a hard time still doing the trick. So it's another one that you want to take some times to learn and it's going to be a little frustrating.
Bam: And you do have to kick your front foot out a lot so your board doesn't hit it. And the higher you jump, the better off you're going to be.
