"Deadlands" directed by Mike Sloat (Testament, Machinehead).

If there is one Heavy Metal band that possesses the essential elements necessary to breakout big in the worldwide music scene, it's Sacramento, California's DEADLANDS. As professional musicians and seasoned performers, DEADLANDS delivers full force with a heavy energetic yet commercial musical approach in its song writing and live performances. They unleash killer hooks, heavy dynamic vocals, attacking guitar riffs, epic solos, catchy lyrics, driving drums and intricate bass lines that combine heavy, thrash, power, groove, and speed metal with shredding hard rock overtones.
DEADLANDS was formed in the summer of 2010 by Lead vocalist Brian O'Connor (Consfearacy, ex-Vicious Rumors), Lead guitarist Michael J. Gardner (The Council), Lead guitarist Kevin Rohr (Spectre), bassist extraordinaire Steve "Dedbass" Northam and drummer Danny Sablan (HateFX, The Council). These longtime friends and experienced musicians had a clear and direct vision to combine forces and create a powerful and unique Heavy Metal group. Their intention was to write and produce their own brand of Heavy Metal, while utilizing their past and present influences as a foundation and inspiration for their musical direction.
Individually these five talented artists have achieved much success worldwide. Their accomplishments collectively include; touring the U.S. and Europe, recording numerous records and DVDs with worldwide distribution, performing at festivals to crowds of 50,000 people or more, supporting major acts such as Judas Priest, DIO, Aerosmith, Motorhead, King Diamond, Iron Maiden, Megadeth, Kidd Rock, Mercyful Fate, Slayer, Scorpions, Twisted Sister, Body Count, Destruction, Blind Guardian, Savatage, Testament and many more. They have also appeared in many national and international media outlets.
DEADLANDS is quickly establishing a large fan base, being nominated for a 2012 Sacramento Area Music Award (SAMMIES), playing live, and sharing the stage with artists such as Exodus, Anvil, Y&T, Great White, Death Angel and more. They have received great reviews and high praise for their music and live performances from fans, concert promoters and Media sources.
Currently, DEADLANDS finished their debut full length CD "Evilution" and signed a worldwide record deal with Massacre Records. "Evilution" will release on February 22, 2013 and features guest solo appearances by legendary Heavy Metal guitarists: Hank Shermann (Mercyful Fate), Michael Denner (Mercyful Fate/King Diamond), Andy LaRocque (King Diamond), Claudeous Creamer (Dragonlord), Mike Wead (Mercyful Fate/King Diamond), Glen Alvelais (Forbidden/Testament/HateFX), and Steve Smyth (Nevermore/Forbidden).
