The top part of the valley had an ugly metal railing and dangerous steep slopes. The ground was muddy and covered in rotting leaves and dead grass. We replaced the metal railing with a wooden fence and put in bank supports to make a path along the top. The fresh healthy grass gives the site a much more appealing look. Connifer walk was extremely cluttered and had an abandoned feel to it. Trees were unable to grow properly and litter covered the ground. We planted connifers down the left side to improve security and drainage. Clearing out deadwood has enabled the remaining trees to flourish. The daffodils look beautiful in the spring. The entrance was overgrown and did not look inviting. We made the steps down more gradual and planted both sides with attractive bushes and flowers.
