This is part 9 of a multi part video series about how to troubleshoot any ignition, fuel injection or timing issue. I describe the ignition system and how to test it, including the base timing for crank to cam to distributor. I also describe typical (acceptable) wear/play/clearance/tollerance for distributor shafts.

The Ignition Control (IC) module controls timing below 400rpm...then the ECM controls the timing above 400 rpm.
