The growth of augmented reality application in edutainment area has been increased tremendously with leading brands & technology providers in South East Asia. AR allows individuals including students to experience the realness of something without harmful consequences of their actions. This is why nowadays many powerful gaming devices and simulations use AR, rather than VR.
The conventional education approach uses text, audio, and video, but with AR implementation in education, the process is stepping into a new level. AR breaks the barrier of conventional media approach; by using AR, students will learn new information in a more interactive way. For example, to bring out 3D chemical elements formation, or to simulate mount eruption process without the use of experiment. Not only to help students to understand imaginative subjects, this experience will increase student's excitement to study.
