Our Summer School Schedule

How we homeschool (lightly) over the summer and keep some structure to our day.

Here's an outline for this talk:

Create a fun name for your summer homeschooling

Gather as a family for (20 min)
1. Devotional/Character Study
2. Latin word of the day
3. Etiquette (George Washington's Rules for Civility)

Independent Study time for each child, focus on where they show gaps in skills. Use workbooks or Pinterest. (45 min)

Background ideas for the day; classic music, Latin prayers, kids songs in a foreign language, audio books
