Great game, great music.
Jazz. This seems to be some sort of modern "cool jazz" fusion kind of thing. It's a bit out of place for the 1940's--they hadn't gotten a taste for this kind of jazz then--but it does fit the Noire feel. I don't know what kind of jazz subset it would fit in, though. It kind of exists as its own soundtrack thing.

No never. They've made some "perfect", "good", "average" and "mediocre" ones (normally it's perfect, though), but they've never made a "bad" one.
