Try setting the depth of your camera object to 100.ï»¿
+isaiah o' connorÂ First you must create a texture, and then open it. On the window that says New Backgroud and Load Background, look for a box that says "Use for 3d" Then select it.ï»¿

I keep getting this error Error in Object obj_cam, Event Step, Action 1 at Line 2, Position 60: Symbol ) expected. Not sure what that means but O get 3 errors like that. Help?ï»¿
Thanks, I've wanted a kick start into d3d for some time now, and this is just what I needed. If I may, I'd like to offer a few suggestions. First, I was able to learn what the functions mean from the help file, but, as this is a tutorial, it would be nice to have some explanation instead of "just copy what I've written." Secondly, the right and left can be simplified to x = x - sin(direction*pi/180); y = y - cos(direction*pi/180); Finally, a little detail, you can center the camera at the beginning by centering the mouse in the player create event. Thanks again.ï»¿
I need help, I have GameMaker: Studio. Everytime I try run the game my walls don't appear in 3D and they don't gain any perspective. If anyone could help it would be great, cheers.ï»¿
