Lehman Caves (a single cavern) extends a quarter-mile into the limestone and marble that flank the base of the Snake Range. American Indians knew of it long before the rancher and miner Absalom Lehman explored it in 1885. It is one of the region's most profusely decorated caves.
Due to time restraints, Yoly and I chose to take the "kiddie tour" where we were part of a large group of children and I thought that the ranger tour guide did a good job of making it interesting for everyone. Groups are limited in number so advanced reservations are recommended.
