This is an artistic experiment involving composer researcher Shlomo Dubnov and Bansuri flutist Etienne Rolin using the the Py-Oracle system devised by Dubnov.
Realized at the Bordeaux university (LABRI-SCRIME) department for computer work on july 19 2016 we were asisted by Jaime Arias running a simultaneous I-Score program to impliment trigger points on our time frame.
Pre-recorded materiel is analysed segmented then redistributed into a new compositonal flow chart that offers continuity and surprises to what an improvising musician can find in an ongoing dialogue. This summer recording in july followed a conference in Talence on Interactif musical systems in the spring.
Py-oracle offers analysis of the stylistic characteristics of the improvisor then proposes a real-time counterpoint.

The aura of this meeting of an instrument from a 4000 year old Hindustani culture and today's Max/MSP programming is quite inticing !
