Have you ever wanted to be a rapper but have no skill nor is it cut out for you? Or maybe you just love Smule apps, like us, and want to try out their newest release. Well AutoRap is that newest release which give you the ability to speak into your iDevice and it will process a rap song for you. No skill is necessary, just say a few sentences about literally anything and the app will make it into a song.

Similar to the I Am T-Pain app, this app uses autotune to tweak your voice and recording into something which actually sounds like a song. Now you won't be winning any awards for these songs, other then maybe having the coolest app out at the party, but it sure is fun.

After you have opened up the application it will take you to a menu where you can choose a beat, check out songs made by others, or listen to your past saved songs. By selected choose a beat, you are taken to Smule's beat store where you can choose to either actually rap over a beat, or simply take as mentioned before. After that you can scroll through the Featured, Premium, and Freestyle beats. Premium beats you will have to pay for separately through in-app purchase, but the first 25 Freestyle beats and recordings are free. If you wish to purchase unlimited recordings for Freestyle beats, it will run you $4.99, there is no unlimited for Premium.

After you have chosen your beat you are ready to go. The app will tell you to talk into the iDevice's microphone and that's what you will do. There is a limit on how much you can record but there is also plenty of time, about 30 seconds we believe. Then the app will process and put everything together for you just like your very own producer. After this you can listen to your song over and over again until you decide to either save it, share it, or make sure nobody ever hears it ever again.

It's an interesting app until your credits run out, but unlimited Freestyles for about $5 isn't too much if you really like it. Definitely something to check out and it won't cost you a dime to download. AutoRap by Smule can be found for free with 25 free recordings as a universal app in the App Store and Google's Play Store.
