The Hindustan Motors Ambassador has been an iconic car ever since it was first launched in India. Not only this was the first car to be ever manufactured in India, it was also the only car to be in production for almost 50 years. Discontinued in 2014, the HM Ambassador served both politicians and taxi drivers and hence we had this curiosity to know, why was this such a popular car?
