Emily shares her story of being the daughter of the plaintiffs in the lawsuit that resulted in the Virginia ban on same-sex marriages being overturned. Conquering her fears, Emily shows us how standing up for one’s beliefs led to winning the battle for the right to love and marriage equality.
Emily Schall-Townley is a current college student and graduate of Monacan High School in Chesterfield County, Virginia.
