Tattoo removal has been performed with various tools during the history of tattooing. While tattoos were once considered permanent, it is now possible to remove them with treatments, fully or partially.
Laser tattoo removal is entirely safe and produces fantastic results. In most cases we are able to completely eradicate the tattoo, leaving the skin looking completely natural. Several factors can affect how long the treatment will take and how effective it will be. These include the colors used, the size of the tattoo and the density of the ink. Tattoos are completely unique to the individual.
How does it work?
The laser works by passing a beam through the skin and breaking the tattoo ink up into tiny particles. These particles are then gradually removed by our body’s immune system. It usually takes several treatment sessions to ensure success, with regular intervals between sessions. In some circumstances a slight amount of ink will remain that cannot be removed, but this is usually not visible unless the skin is very closely examined.
