There was a time in the 50s and 60s when Vancouver we reknown for all the neon in the city. This footage was shot for the BBC-TV series, "Living in the British Commonwealth".
The original footage was shot by CBUT (CBC Vancouver) cameraman Kelly Duncan. He shot 'several hundred feet' of silent B&W film typical of life in Vancouver. This silent footage is enhanced with a Miles Davis "Florence sur les Champs-Elysees" soundtrack
